Deep inside Skeloboy's castle, with the iron gates still locked tight, Pupkin turned to Bingo.
"How did you know it was him?" Pupkin asked quietly. "How did you really know?"
Bingo was silent for a long moment. The torches flickered. The shadows stretched.
Then the blue wolf sat down, looked at the floor, and said the words that changed everything.
"Because... I used to work for him."
Pupkin stared. "What?"
"I was Skeloboy's minion," Bingo said. "A long time ago. Before I came to Shufflebug Forest. Before I met you." He looked up, eyes serious. "I left. I chose a different path. But Skeloboy never forgot."
Before Pupkin could respond, a deep laugh echoed through the castle halls.
Skeloboy had been listening the whole time.
"So," the voice boomed, "the wolf finally tells the truth. Now — let's find out if he's truly changed."
The gates swung open. Skeloboy stepped forward.
It was time to fight.
Good... or bad. Only one way to find out. 💀🐺
